Entropia Universe:Jedi's Entropia guide

This guide is both for newbies and more experienced players. Here you will find some techniques and methods to profit in Entropia. There are different types of scales of profit you can potentially make. I will try covering all of them.

Entropia is a very complex game. If you joined because you want to get rich fast, then EU isn’t for you. You can earn money from it but it’s not easy. I’ll try explaining the methods here. I hope it will be usefull

1) Nondepositors
So here you are in your OJ (orange jumpsuit) new in the universe and eager to start exploring. First thing you have to do to earn some PEDs (Project Entropia Dollars) is start sweating. This means to collect Vibrant sweat from the animals using the VSE Mk1, the tool you find in your inventory in the tools category. To use it, you have to equip it then to go to a animal and use it. At first, you will get 100 or 200 sweat per hour. This will improve when you will learn to sweat.

A good place for a newbie to sweat is the Swamp Camp. You can get there by walking north from Port Atlantis on the road. You can find it easily. You are going to need a lot of sweat to be able to play without depositing. After you gather enough sweat you can sell it to a trader. After you learn a few things you should go to Nea's place on Amathera continent. If you gather a big quantity before selling it, you may be able to profit more, because some traders offer a better price then the current market price.

Another way to earn some PED is to walk. You can find fruits, stones and dung on the ground. You don’t get a lot of money by selling them, but every PEC helps.

DON’T buy a gun now. You will loose money by doing that. You can’t profit hunting except you have proper skills and gear.

You should buy a Vivo t1 from the tt (Trade Terminal) as soon as you get the money. It will help you die less and this way you will gather more sweat per hour. Once you get to Nea's place you should team up with other players. It's easyer to gather sweat when you have a team to help you die less. When players form a circle around the animals they die less and the animal doesn't run, so the sweat gathered per hour increases.

And don’t run when a mob (animal) hits you. It’s very annoying when the mob runs after someone when others are sweating it. You will get skills when it hits you. Remember that the skills can be sold too.

you should also find a nice society. It's very helpfull to be in a friendly one. They can answer most of your questions. When you earned 40-50 PED you can join the part 2 of the guide.

2)Depositors
Now you have some cash. You should use half of it to buy a gun and some ammo and have fun. If you don’t you will get bored of the game and probably end up quitting.

Now you should start a little trading. You should find a regular buyer for a item
and start buying from hunters the small quantities they get from looting the animals and sell big stacks. I would suggest getting the Twin Peaks teleport. You can find a lot of people that buy and sell stuff there. It’s a good place to find the buyer.

I am currenly selling hair gel and hair spray to a hair stilist. I don't earn much, but it's more then you can earn sweating.

You can also buy the loot from hunters, hather big stacks and sell those, but you shouldn't try it before you have more peds because you can't be sure when someone will buy it. The best way is to find crafters that need items regulary and to start buying those items that you are certain that can be sold.

You can also collect armour parts and selling a full set at a higher markup. It’s a very useful service for most of the players. it’s not easy to track down all the parts.

And try buying everything people wan to sell to the tt. If somebody askes you if you want something at tt price, buy it. If you can't sell it to somebody else, you can always get your money back by selling that item to the tt.

As you profit you can trade with more expensive items and earn more PEDs.
3)Becoming self sufficient

This part is for those who have been playing for a while and progressed from part two and want to become self sufficient (no more depositing and/or sweating).

There are a lot of professions (jobs) you can do, but don’t try making money from MindArk because it won’t work. You should try a profession that makes money from other players (beauty, shop owner, etc. ). All these are providing a service to the players that can’t do it themselves or don’t want to do it themselves. You do it for them in exchange for a fee. All of these professions need an investition so you must have some cash before thinking about starting one.

You can also craft, but it’s very expensive, and i don’t know a lot about it… there are some tutorials on the forum, however.

It’s quite simple: do your job to earn some cash. You should profit by doing that and you may even progress to part 4

4)Earning money
To try this you will need a lot of cash.
The first option is to speculate the price of an item. The uber items prices have been increasing for some time, so if you think that a item’s price will increase with 1000$ in a year you buy it and wait until the price will be high enough to sell it. But this is a very risky business and you should know the game before trying it.

The second and safer option is to buy a land area. you can collect taxes from the players that mine, hunt or have shops on your LA. You can set the taxes and start advertising the land. If you can’t afford DNA for mobs, you can still earn cash from the miners and the shop owners.

Thanks for reading and have a good time! More useful information to help u level up and make money can be found here: http://www.mmofuns.com/
